Catechins against metabolic syndrome
In addition to their benefits on weight, catechins play a key role in health, including the prevention of metabolic syndrome. This disorder is characterized by glucose («sugar" in the blood) and high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and waist circumference exceeding 102 cm for men and 88 cm for women.
